His success in the media industry is a result of passion, perseverance, and hard work. Aby’s passion for journalism can be traced from way back to the late 1980s at the age of three years.
In those early years, he was his father’s anchor as he used to read Daily Nation articles, a publication he would later come to work with.
Soon after he completed his studies he was employed as an intern by Nation Media House owned publisher, Daily Nation in 2010. With Daily Nation, he sharpened his writing skills, writing in different niches from Politics, ICC, Health, Entertainment, Sports, and Education.
After the internship, his career took another path as he was part of the graduate team trainee program dubbed the Media Lab at Nation Media. In December 2011, he was posted on NTV’s Business Desk.
Three years down the line he joined Standard Media Group in 2014 working at the KTN as a Business Anchor and Reporter. Currently, he hosts KTN Job Centre, he is also the talent behind the Business Chat segment where he hosts leaders from different industries.
As a reporter, Aby has a special interest in matters concerning ICT, trade, tourism, aviation, oil, gas economics, and infrastructure. Being one of the best business reporters he has traveled around the world garnering new and beneficial reports in the business world.
