Career
Her broadcasting journey began at GBS, a TV station owned by a Korean media house but operates in Kenya. In 2014, she landed another job at a local TV station, Ebru TV serving as a news anchor and a host of Tabletalk.
She worked with the station for two years before finding her way to Kenya’s most-watched TV station, Kenya Television Network (KTN). Akisa was hired to serve as a primetime news anchor in 2016 after the station announced a vacancy.
