In an unfortunate event that took place in Kasarani, a thief is caught on camera breaking into an apartment in the Kasarani area using a Master Key.
In the video circulating online today, the thief who seems very calm while breaking into an apartment whose owner was away is seen checking the kind of padlock the house has.
He then goes ahead to produce a master key with which he uses to very quickly open the door and walk in and then walks out after a few moments with his loot.
This has become a common trend among thieves in Nairobi. They use such keys to get into your house without making a sound that could alert the neighbors.
It is thus advised that tenants be sure to invest in powerful padlocks to safeguard their belongings while they are away.
